Oscar Molinar, 57, passed away on May 21, in Odessa. Oscar was born in Alpine to Juan and Manuela Molinar on April 2, 1966. He graduated from Alpine High School in May of 1985.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 10, in Alpine with Father Pablo Mata/Father Edroud Jean officiating at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Services will follow at Holy Angels Cemetery.

Oscar was employed as a Security guard, and at Big Bend Regional Hospital and Glazier’s.

Oscar is preceded in death by his father Juan J. Molinar, stepfather Ruben R. Armendariz. Oscar is survived by his mother Manuela B Armendariz of San Antonio. Brothers Juan Efren, wife Jessie A. Molinar of Marfa, Edmundo Molinar of Odessa, Harold Gene, wife Terry Armendariz of Ocean Park, Washington, Anthony Armendariz of Seattle, Washington. Sisters Evangeline B. Molinar of San Antonio, Tammy Rene Armendariz of Ocean Park, Washington, and his longtime Girlfriend Yvonne Reyes of Alpine along with several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are Rudy Perez, Benny Muniz, Oscar Moralez, Efrain Vizcaino, Sammy Ramos, and Tony Molinar.
