Marlow, at the age of 42, received his promotion to heaven on Feb. 15. He was born and raised in Midland. He graduated from Midland Christian School in 1999. He received a BA in Marketing from University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Marlow began his working career in middle school at the family business, Dotson Nissan, which instilled in him a strong work ethic. After college he became an insurance adjuster with Progressive Insurance. He was working for the Davies Company at the time of his passing.

Marlow is survived by his wife Kellie Marie Smith Wall, his son Gavin Lee Wall age 13 and his daughter Ruby June Wall age 12; his mother Maureen Dotson Lewis and step-father David Lewis; his only surviving grandparent, grandmother June Dotson; biological father, J.K. “Rusty” Wall and his wife Iris Wall; a brother Toby Marcum Wall and his wife Kate Hartwig Wall; and his former spouse, Amanda Wall Simmons.

Marlow loved animals and would always have room for one more. He was funny, loyal and his sense of humor made all of us smile. A truer friend you could never find. He learned how to fix things and rebuilt his 1950 red Ford with David and won a first-place trophy. He loved his family and was someone you could always count on.

He truly loved our Lord, Jesus and was a born-again man. He wasn’t afraid of death. He wanted to always live his life doing the good and right things, depending on his help.

We miss him today as we will every day. But we give God thanks for the 42 years we had to be a part of his life.

I Corinthians 1:18 KJV For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
