Joseph “JD” Alexander Osborne has moved to his permanent home, in Jesus’ arms, in Heaven. Joseph left on angel’s wings Saturday morning, Nov. 26, from Bell County, Texas, leaving behind his grieving family and friends.

Survived by his adopted family, mother Jenny Walker, father James Osborne, sister Isabelle Osborne, brother Seth Osborne, and sister Macey Walker. Survived by his biological family, mother Tara Whitfield, father James Winstead, brother Morgan Osborne and sister Sarai Whitfield. Multiple grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends from San Diego, California and across the state of Texas will miss him desperately.

Born on July 21, 2004, in Midland County, Texas, Joseph spent 18 years with his adopted family in Alpine, Texas and his biological families in Temple, Texas and Midland, Texas. He was highly intelligent, a lover of books growing up, and at times mysteriously quiet, also social in his own way. Joseph was homeschooled for 6 years, and as such made many happy memories with his adopted family.

In his early teens, Joseph was introduced to his biological family and widened his sphere of infl uences and experiences.

There will forever be boundless love and loss poured out from so many households for our beloved son, brother, nephew, and friend. A wake in his memory is scheduled for Dec. 22, in Alpine, details to follow. Memorials can be made to the family or First Baptist Church of Alpine.
